Amoksa's journey began during the lockdown, a time when the entire world was facing immense challenges. Amid this, a 60-year-old cancer survivor grappled with a profound concern—while physical exhaustion and illness could be diagnosed and treated, what about the weariness of the mind? This question marked the beginning of her journey to heal herself through music. It was a path of self-discovery, where emotions found expression not in words but in melodies, creating a space for inner recovery and renewal. When no one was around, we often turn to God and express everything from the heart. It was then, on Ashadhi Ekadashi, that the first song came through Amoksa, a reflection of this deep connection and healing.

After winning the beauty pageant title, one question repeatedly came to Mamata’s mind: how to convey emotions and feelings without words, how to make people experience them through a silent yet profound expression. This journey began with a heartfelt act of hair donation, where Mamata donated her own hair, defying society's insensitive words and sympathy, and stepping beyond the superficial judgments. This act sparked the beginning of an instrumental music journey, using technology to provide an experience for others. This led to the creation of a library of music and sounds that could connect with people on a deeper level.
In 2022, Strisutram Media Private Limited was born, and the Amoksa Music brand was established. This was where all the research and music began to blend Indian, Western, and fusion music, integrating it with technology, psychology, and lifestyle. The journey started to bring music closer to the people, creating an experience that resonates with the soul and connects with emotional and mental well-being.
